You have to sit down and critically think about this. These people are not this advanced yet as far as remote neural mind control goes. You have to have something implanted in your body to be able to take full control in the manner targeted individuals are describing this. But spirits can do all of these things because they don’t need gadgets or receptors or anything like that. They themselves are literally made of the energy and frequencies needed to tap into the brain and body.
This issue deals with vibration, magnetism, energy and frequency which is the reason the practice of using crystals/gems and what not is mentioned in the scriptures and practiced by people into Spiritualism however I don’t believe they are using this the right way at all. I am researching this now.

The left ear can sound different then the right, if a person pays attention they can sense which direction the communication is coming from. They can sense the left ear, the right ear, a space on the upper right corner, right directly above the mind space centered at the top and outside of the head all together.
The right ear seems evil as shit, more evil than the left. The upper right corner seems to be helpful sometimes but this is not definitive at all so be careful and notice the differences for yourself but NEVER FULLY TRUST ANY OF THEM.
